I forgot aguero is there...bad move.

Not watched the game but it’s quite embarrassing. There comes a point where the style has to be more pragmatic. No point playing similar style that got them plaudits when your players are probably better suited to a different style.

I reckon they've written off this season already and 4th will do them.

It's all about firesaling players and getting the kids in for the next season.

Pedri and fati etc.

They lost Messi, got a bunch of injuries, and they are in an absolute hole off the pitch. Feel sorry for Koeman and the team. None of this is their fault.

Gonna be a hard year for Barcelona. They'll be back but it might take a fair bit of time.

Not sure what the surprise is. They are in complete rebuild mode now, balancing books. Not going to be a force in Europe for a few years now. Hopefully we see the same happen in the UK with the financially doped clubs getting caught out eventually.

look at the barca side last night some random awful Koeman formation with players you'd never play where they were put.

The club was (maybe still is) rotten from the top all the way down so they need to fix the structures such that people who make good decisions are there not people who make political decisions.

Ter stegen (I've never put him in the top keepers but decent)
Alba (still decent) but a left full playin CB.
Pique - how old is he now?
Other CBs, eye sore frankly. eric garcia. average player for city, araujo. meh
Roberto playing RW/wing back or something. decent RB
Busquets gone completely ridiculous he is still going. hes not that old but his legs are gone and he cannot get about.
Pedri - top top young talent. relegated to a quasi left win/wing back role. Crazy

de jongs - pointless. CM and up front.
Depay - i don't get this love in for this lad by koeman he is so far under the level.

Look at all the others, aguero crock, coutinho over paid. dembele useless really,

They need to get rid of the dross and start with a focus on the top talents.

they need to find their essesnce again ans start with koeman hitting the road. They need to see if Xavi actually wants a job or what the hell and then move on from there.

Big clean up and rebuild job needed at Barcelona now, tough task for anybody really, so I feel for Koeman.

I looked at their starting team last night and it looked so weak compared to what I'm used to seeing. I can imagine it will take a few years to get them back at the top again.

Rubbish. He is missing his complete attack. Koeman has proven to be able to rebuild with youth. Barcelona has completely facked up their own existence, non of it is on Koeman.

he's not up to it. never was, never will be

It is just a symptom to the point i made and you have alluded to a well. they were rotten from the top down and need to fix that.
