If Timo Werner wants out...

I really like Werner. His finishing can be awful at times, but he never seems to let that stop him. He keeps making those runs time and time again - he must be a nightmare for defenders to try to mark. He so quick and relentless that he creates space for everyone around him. Especially while Pulisic is injured (which is always), Werner is the only one who makes those darting runs. Plus I think he’s a great character. I hope we keep him.

He’s just crap at finishing

Him playing off Lukaku or even on the wing is where he belongs, he’s quality at everything bar finishing

First, if he does go, that we make a profit on him.

However, I do feel he is on the edge of greatness. He's dangerous, makes loads of chances but lost his confidence last season. Just by law of averages for chances, he should have scored 15 last year and 20+ if he had a half decent conversion rate. I don't think I've ever seen a player hit the woodwork as much since Hoddle bought Paul Furlong!!!

He should be in the team instead of Ziyech imo.

Totally agree. I'll be annoyed if we sell him, especially as I think he can complement Lukaku really well.

We would be bloody silly if we sell Werner.

Werner' importance is overstated.
There's nothing he can do which are other attackers can't do (especially Havertz, who himself is quite adept at darting blindside movements and stays onside).
Werner is currently consigned to the bench and rightly so, unhelpful in progression of possession build-up play.

Would be wise to sell in the next window(s) while he still has monetary value before value plummets, if his heart is elsewhere.
Never going to get the best out of him with his head firmly in Germany.

Werner wasn't our worst attacker last season though.
That accolade goes to Pulisic (worst by a long way)...

Pulisic with each passing day reaffirms my belief that his post-lockdown form was just a purple patch which Frank managed to extract from him.
When not scoring, doesn't have a lot going on for him. Not particularly creative at all, at the best of times. Vision is second-rate.
Good games have been few and far between.
Went from being one of the top performers in his debut season to the worst (basically a no-show, biggest player downturn) last season was alarming.
Absolutely horrendous season.

If he want's to go rather than the usual media spin..reporting this...then yes get a good price for him, otherwise if it's nonsense and he wants to work for his place I'm all for supporting him. Werner will be a valuable asset for whoever he plays for.
