Reaction to our win at Ajax randomly came up on my youtube feed last night, Poch’s ‘thank you football’ interview put a lump in my throat. I miss enjoying being a spurs fan, really hoping for something positive to happen in the next two games.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This might of been mentioned this morning:
"Nuno Espirito Santo's teams have failed to score in the first half in 83 of his 118 Premier League games in charge."
The only thing we can really hope for are the results. It certainly won't be the football.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Get ready for a bumpy ride if Poch is the best memories some fans have.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why, what are your best memories then? That five year period under Poch, playing in the CL, moving to the new stadium etc was easily the best period since 91.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Both league cup wins (99 and '08) since 91 are better than anything Poch achieved if you talking about memories. Poch was fun but history will not remember him as fondly as many make out.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It will
CL final and 4 seasons in a row in top 4 places.
I'm sure a fair few would say better memories there than league cup wins in isolation around absolute sh yte

No Lucas, Bergwijn, or Son makes it easy for them to push up.

With everyone fit we'd like be set up similar to what we were against City. Maybe 3 CBs as that seems to be the best way to play against them.
Difference is we had a pacy front three available then, so they couldn't push up and relax. At best we'll have Kane strolling about, Lo Celso looking a bit lost out wide, and Gil shut down because they know he's the only threat on the break.

Absolute nonsense. You honestly reckon Ramos is remembered more fondly than Pochettino?
