Lingard scoringg on the 89th minute and not celebrating (something I predicted). Shaw conceding a harsh but understandable penalty. West Ham bringing on Noble to take a penalty int the last minute.
AND DDG ACTUALLY SAVING A PENALTY!!!
So much happened in the last 5 mins and thankfully we got the result we wanted. I believe this was the best utd setup and performance I have seen against a tricky opponent this season. A performance and setup I hope we build on.
WOW, Just WOW

yes McFred
I am not the biggest fan of either player and strongly dislike Fred. But until we get a better cdm the are the best we have.
Playing McFred means loose incisive passing from cm but it also means we have the steel in cm that we are not overrun by decent teams in that position.
The biggest frustration when we have played mcfred in the past is the lack of creativity. Our attackers are on a different level now and though not ideal can carry the lack of creativity of a mcfred midfield imo

They are the only partnership in cm that works... Limited or not
I rate Scotty... Attitude and underrated ability.

Definitely our best away performance so far this season but still went flat for too long in the 2nd half.

Steel?. Not overrun? Have you not seen Fred get bullied, then add his poor touch, and poor passes, or lack of forward play, it’s a recipe for disaster.
But I get what you’re saying though, this set up is obviously Ole’s go to personnel.
But today Fred was good for about 10 mins. I would like to see Donny in there, and have him battle it out with Fred.
Haven’t got an issue with McT.

Really big win today.
Unfortunately it’s not often you win and drop 2 places
Going to take a lot of big wins to win the league this season (stating the obvious) - Liverpool and Chelsea aren’t going to go away are they? And we know City will go on a 30 match winning streak any day now :|

I think now that Scott's back, we'll see more of Donny - Ole should try the McVan and see how they work together.
