After 5 premier league games.

We can see a few pointers can't we, so here's mine:

The title: For me...two teams will challenge come May; CFC and Liverpool...they are the best two teams with the best starting 11 imo. No suprise they have both only conceded 1 goal each..and that was in the game Vs each other.

T Silva: wasnt sold on him coming to the prem..but...hes been brilliant, top defending and a threat in the opposition box too..very cool customer indeed.

Ronaldo: He will score goals...wont last many 90mins but i have already resigned myself to him hitting 20 odd goals this season.

OGS: Worst and tbh luckiest manager in the top four...but...its the reason Utd wont challenge for the title let alone anywhere near winning it...OGS..simply different and lower league to both Klopp and Tuchel.

I Toney: Looks a top player for Brentford and will give many teams a real test with his power and skill.

H Kane: Should just leave Spurs....to me his performance has dropped massively compared to last season.

M City: Need a striker and for me still weak defensively and its why cfc and liverpool will imo be only the 2 teams competing for the title.

“ I actually prefer it when we are written off early because it places the pressure on the rest and usually the pressure tells after Christmas

See united last season and Liverpool in the 2018-19 season.”

Eh? How did the pressure show after Christmas for us in 18-19?

We finished one point off you and were part of a record breaking title chase

And the next year City completely crumbled in comparison with Raheem attacking his England team mates because he couldn't handle it.

I still make them favourties but it will be interesting to see how they get on at the business end of the season and they have lost some mad experience from the dressing room.

All we've been given is a 'leg-up' just like the rest of our rivals have at some stage of their development.

You don't win a trophy for 'having respect' and it's not why I follow my team.

Yes, that's fine. Still, most don't and won't respect City's "achievements.

I do fwiw but there we go.

You conceded a 7 point lead at the end of January.

Is that the year that City won 18 on the bounce or something daft?

If so I'd prefer to give credit to City and I'd feel a bit of an idiot saying otherwise.

The close 4-3 game between us that you won bringing it down to 4. Catching up 4 points wasn’t us feeling the pressure. Your record was ridiculous post Christmas.

Tell a lie it was 2-1 to City on the 3rd.

I was trying to work that one out.

2-1 with Sane scoring the winner. That was a tremendous season because I didn't think we would make up the ground.

How can a team who have accumulated the number of points City have over the past three years be put behind Pool and Chelsea and this is from a United fan

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thats a fair point. I just feel city are not as strong defensively and will miss aguero over the season.

I can see both cfc and liverpool beating city in the games vs each other...we shall see..just my opinion

Brilliant
