Why does that help the Americans? Big hitters?

Yes, big hitters, like to hit high fades into greens, the Europeans can shape the ball but prefer a low draw, particularly if they learnt on links.

US have the better players but the ryder cup usually brings the best out of Europe. Should be interesting.
