A year ago today since we signed Edouard Mendy, and what a signing it has turned out to be.
I've been meaning to do an article on him for a few weeks just to comment on just how phenomenal he's been.
The guy has had the best year of any keeper the last 12 months and although I won't say he is definitely the best keeper in the world he is atleast the most inform and has been the best over the last 12 months.

There was a stat earlier in the season, i believe after the liverpool game where he'd saved 100% from 26 shots on target.
Fantastic business for around £20m after the Kepa debacle.
What a keeper and hope he's back fit again soon.
A fantastic shot stopper, fantastic from crosses and rarely puts a foot wrong, he is also great on the ball, typified by his ball out to chillwell for our goal in the champions league final.

Yeah Ederson and Allison have been world class for a long time now. Mendy needs to show this sort of consistency for a few more years to get on that level. Currently heading in the right direction.

He looks top notch to me,and as Sheriff said, he has also bought out the best in Kepa.
The only time I've seen him flustered ,was against West Brom last season ! an utterly incredible game !

De Gea is hard to place, not even in the discussion in the last few years but looks more like his old self this season. Bracket C for now.

Mendys form still phenomenal. Best in the world currently and if he keeps this up will be considered one of the best around.
