Tottenham have lost three consecutive Premier League games to Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Arsenal after their search for a new manager ended with the appointment of Nuno Espirito Santo in June; Spurs rank 20th in the league for shots and chances created this season.

Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust (THST) has requested a meeting with the club's board to discuss its "short and long-term strategic vision".

Spurs have lost three consecutive Premier League games to London rivals Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Arsenal after their protracted search for a new manager ended with the appointment of Nuno Espirito Santo in June.

They were top of the league after winning their opening three matches 1-0 but rank 20th out of 20 for shots and chances created this season, and have also covered less distance than any other side.

A THST statement read: "Over the past few weeks, we've been contacted by an increasing number of trust members and the wider fan base who are extremely concerned about the current direction of THFC.

"We have asked for a meeting with the club's executive board to discuss both the short and long-term strategic vision for the football club.

Not sure what you're expecting him to do within 10 games of his tenure. No excuses for losing in the manner you did on Sunday performance wise, but you just aren't that good of a team ultimately. You knew what you were getting with his style of play, these stats cannot be a surprise to you.

Your previous 2 managers have been Jose and Nuno, notorious for their slower styles, that's probably the type of manager your hierarchy are wanting in charge by the looks of it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

We’ve got two of the best strikers in the league, one is top 3 in the world but we have only managed to score 4 goals in our opening 6 games - thats on Nuno As we are creating nothing. Poch used to get us scoring regularly with Winks and Sissoko starting CM.

Our squad is comfortably in the top 6 in the league and the fact that we are below West Ham again is a sackable offence on its own, but compound that with the first 30 mins at Arsenal it’s surprising Nuno made it through yesterday.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As I say, that's your style of play change though and you recorded 3 consecutive 1-0 wins in your opening 3 games, that's what Nuno can deliver. Wanting him sacked because of Sunday will not lead you anywhere.

The performance at Arsenal was bad but you scored, hit the crossbar, had one effort go narrowly wide of the far post and should have had a penalty. You feasibly could have won the game off chances created (and the penalty going your way on another day). That could be an argument against it.

I'm not really sure what you're expecting though. On paper your squad seems like it should be better than it is, but let's be honest, it isn't that good outside of 2/3 players. Your back 4 is about as average as it gets, you have no creativity of flair in the midfield and your other forwards outside of Son and Kane are about as inconsistent as they come.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

A defence of Romero, Sanchez, Reggie and Royal on paper looks very decent. Skipp and PEH holding with a proper AM - which we don’t really have and then Kane, Son and Gil playing on the right rather than left also looks good to me - the issue is that there are loads of duffers in the squad but there is still a first 11 there that should not be finishing lower than 6th injuries permitting

How are you going to sack a manager after 6 league games ffs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Because his style of football is completely at odds with our traditional style and the fans aren’t happy. Like you lot with Hodgson when he was happy with a point against some mid table team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The fans turned on Hodgson but mainly the board at the start of December when we were 15th. It's September and you're 6 games in around 9th place?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Many fans were calling it long before that. It’s a simple case of a square peg in a round hole. We are asking a defensive cautious manager to play open attacking football - what could go wrong.

We all remember how shiiiete we were particularly in the 90’s although ironically we won the FA and League cup at each end of that decade and we don’t want to go back to that sort of level. The new ground should have meant we never go back to that but Levy is clueless on the football front and holding us back as usual

Hodgson was public enemy number 1 from the moment he took the Liverpool job. He didn't stand a chance.

No he wasn't. He wasn't a lot peoples choice but there was no campaign to get him out/public unhappiness until much later than this stage.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

There were plenty of fans like us saying they wanted him out as early as this though

Again though like I say, on paper. Gil looked lively off the bench against Arsenal but how good is Skipp really? A promising young player, but his actual ability isn't much better than bottom half PL for now and his performances so far reflect this.

I don't rate either of those full backs really despite where they have come from and Sanchez is poor and error prone. It's a top half team and a top half squad, that's just what it is. You're in the bottom half after 6 games, no reason to panic yet and you will finish between 9th and 6th for me. If you're in the bottom half come Christmas, maybe think about moving Nuno on then.
