I have no idea of the game plan we had against arsenal apart from insisting on leaving a large hole in the middle of the pitch.
Why doesn't Nuno just play to his strengths and play wing backs? The fact the players we have seems to suit that formation seems strange not to play it.
It allows our best two players Kane and Son to be upfront. These two are world class even if current form says otherwise, lets build the team around them.
The formation gives Ndombele more freedom and license to go forward and not worry so much as tracking back being in a three man midfield and we have two athletic wing backs in Reggie and Emerson.
Therefore my team would be:-
--------------------------------------SON_____KANE______________________
REGGIE_________________NDOMBELE_____________EMERSON___
____________________SKIPP___HJOBERG______________________
_________________DAVIES__ROMERO__TANGANGA_____________
__________________________HUGO____________________________
I think the majority of that side picks itself. I expect to get shot down for the Davies pick but I like a left footed player for the left side and although he has been mostly terrible when he plays I think he can be solid no nonsense player and with a run of games I think he can be decent like he was for a period under poch.
I like to think that is a well balanced team, not messing about with square pegs in round holes and plays to our better players strengths.
Back to basics Nuno, do what you are good at, I don't know whether he is trying too hard to impress to show he can play entertaining football but it is shocking!

Nuno wasnt good enough for Wolves, a mid table side and was sacked- so what made Levy think he was good enough for us? Only reason was he was basically no compensation needed to be paid
Typical Levy

If Spurs fans were serious about things they'd have boycotted games by now...but you just take it up the chuff from Levy
So you get what you get

Stadium would still be full so would achieve nothing. Lots of Sports tourists in London.

Nuno doesnt want to be seen as going defensive.
Like the weekend we played an attacking team but those players didnt know what do so they were lumping it to nobody. Its like he does not know what to do. He should do what he knows best but he won't.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The centre backs are the main culprits for our bad football. There's no surprise that Dier and Sanchez are the common denominators. They love hoofball.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That isn’t true at all, it is clearly a tactic otherwise why had they not played hoof ball for club and country prior?

First off, it's on Paratici more than Levy.
Second off, it's not like he was first pick. He was maybe 6th?
Third off, is not even clear he was sacked.

"Nuno's tactics"??
Does he have any?
Didn't you see the video of his press conference after the Arsenhole match ?
........
A questioner was asking about "the game plan"!!
YUP...his game plan!
Nuno couldn't really put two words together in answer..... he was just disjointed, hesitant, incapable of a coherent answer.
I think he finally might have said something about the players couldn't stick to the game plan. Maybe that's what he said.
Find that video and watch it...please...it will tell you all you need to know about this manager!
This guy was Levy's ninth choice!!
I doubt the players respect him....
He has got to go !

Nuno is far from a hopeless manager but he is very limited in his approach. With us he was able to build a side that he wanted with little pressure given we were in the championship.
He doesn't have that luxury with a side whose fans lurch from arrogantly championing being top of the table after three games to demanding his head three games later.

No, he doesn’t have that luxury because he is at spurs, a club with Infrastructure and players (and charge prices) to expect a certain level of performance, not necessarily wins. He also is at a club which has had an awful 2 years and the fans are growing impatient at seemingly obvious errors repeatedly being made.
Being top was lauded because arsenal were bottom and it was just fun banter at a time when we had been starved of it, and we’re on the receiving end of it all summer re Kane.
Tables have turned but they will turn back. It’s football.
