I thought the OP was a wum and the real quotes from the presser would follow.

This club terrifies managers. Moyes was rabbit in the headlights, Van Gaal and Mourinho started trying to play good football and lost their nerve, now Ole's going the same way. After his first game he said Rooney had texted him and told him to just go out and attack, remind the players they played for Man Utd (that was a 433 as well, Herrera Matic and Pogba in midfield, Lingard, Rashford and Martial up top). Maybe Wayne needs to send him another text.

What I don’t understand is how when Ole came in we looked exciting in attack for about 18 months, then it all went to pot.

Ole said "..the stats for those two together, we've had many, many good results" (M.E.N., 28 Sep 2021).

The Busby Babe (thebusbybabe.sbnation.com) had an article in Dec 2020 that showed that Pogba-Matic partnership had a 70% win ratio (10 matches) and McT-Fred had a 47% win ratio (17 matches). By now, McT-Fred partnership has led to a 58% win ratio (MEN, 28 Sep 2021).

Now, I'm not a data scientist, statistician, or sport analyst. I don't know what stats Ole uses. Probably using the win ratio is a very simple metric. Anybody knows these stats Ole refers to?

He did mention "The Energy they give us, the way we broke up lay against Villa, they're very, very instrumental together, in that respect. Energy and desire, and I really like to have the tow of them" (MEN, 28 Sep 2021)

We can all discuss tactics till the cows home, but it always comes back to the fact that as a two, McFred are neither creative nor defensive. Scott's probably more of an attacking midfielder at heart, Fred's neither, I don't know what he is. It's not their fault that the front four let them get overwhelmed when we haven't got the ball, but they don't do enough with it when we have.

Matic makes a difference, but can't do it all match. Donny becomes a better player in everyone's eyes when he's not picked. I don't know what the answer is.

Bringing in a cdm in summer pretty much like the whole fanbase was saying would have been a start, last year when complaints were made about mcfred people were told we dont have any other options atm yet we wsted the summer not dealing with that area, now we know why, ole thinks mct and fred will get him where he needs to go

Or he has his heart set on Rice and is prepared to wait and make do with McFred for now. He is never going to talk down McFred in a presser irrespective of what his true feelings on the matter are.

I have just seen that Ole said in his press conference that whilst "tonight is an important game, it isnt must win"

That seems a bizarre message to put out given its a home game in a como where we lost our opener.
