I’m pleased for Ole tonight. Whilst we didn’t perform well, and relied on DDG to keep us in the game, at least set us up to give it a good go.
DDG man of the match. Sancho maybe 6.5 /10. Nobody else was any good.
I think his reaction to Fred and Lingard coming on ahead of him, signals the end of his time at the club for Van De Beek, which is a shame.
I think you lot need to try and draw a line under the Ole in / out stuff.
We all love the baby face assassin, we all realise he isn’t the best manager for the job, but we know he loves our club, he has done some good, and he is no doubt trying his best.

Meant again not against.
De Gea can be relied on again this season. Back to a decent level but Henderson can be good as well. To win trophies you need decent goalkeepers and last time we won a trophy we had that. We haven’t had that since hence no trophies when it mattered.

Ron well I wanted Ole out for him picking his favourites rather than players on form 2 seasons running in cup competitions but tactically he is great.
His problem is he has his favourites. I was thinking Ronaldo could be the difference as he doesn’t bottle much when it matters while we have a lot of bottlejob players in our team.
Lingard and Ronaldo could be key to our success this season.

Also what was our defence doing at the end of the first half. It was like Istanbul game all over again but luckily we regrouped and they completely messed it up.
Ie needs to stop this all out attack.

Although he was not much of a threat most of the game..Ole kept the faith and kept CR7 all night long...since his record against Villareal is very good as he already scored 13 goals against then and finally paid off in the last minute

To be fair I think 0 is generous for Dalot. He was a 10/10 for Villareal.😂 If he wasn’t so inept Villareal wouldn’t have created most of there chances.
