It is so hypocritical of some users on here how they are supportive of Maguire, Varane and Sancho being allowed time to form partnerships or settle in, but are happy to dismiss the likes of Telles, Dalot, Lingard or VDB as poor this and that without the same allowances made.

I'm happy enough to see Lingard start most any game, as he has proved himself at every level.. He just doesn;t have the consistency to be a first team starter.

I put Telles and Dalot in with DvB, they've not had a long string of games to prove their worth, but also have not quite shown enough when they do start to show they are better than the players that are trying to oust.

Will the same guys who champion Beekers, be equally as vocal when Shaw takes over Telles' spot, even though he was influencial in our win on wednesday? Unlikely.

Shaw has been one of our most consistent performers for some time. Telles is going to have to do more than have one good game to displace him.

Agreed. But we shouldn’t dismiss Telles or the others mentioned as poor players until they have had an opportunity to prove themselves in a strong side.

Ripping varane whilst praising telles, hilarious, i think people have a sympathy complex for players that just are not good, varane is miles better than any defender we have, some on her would prefer a team of telles, dalot, fred and martials

He's been with us for 5 years. After 2 years he was talking about leaving United. Since then he, his agent or his brother has talked about his desire to leave in numerous occasions. So yes, he has been talking about leaving United for the majority of his contract.
