Why not Rafa?!

I’ll say one thing for Rafa, he’s got Andros Townsend playing like prime Messi these days, if he carries that on, the guy hands down deserves the manager of the year award.

Just to clarify I don’t want Rafa now ….just making the point that if Nuno was an answer why wasn’t Rafa even in the equation?!

Seems to tick the boxes Paratici wanted but also plays slightly better football so may have kept the fans happier than they are at present

Also getting fed up of hearing ‘give Nuno time’

Why?!?!

I don’t want to watch my team concede possession to most teams we play and with time what’s he going to do? Play even more defensively? Wrong bloke , wrong time , wrong club

Agree with you on the fallacy of the argument of being patient with Nuno and giving him more time. Some times in football an appointment is wrong from the very beginning and the hiring of Nuno is one of those times.

I remember Norwich being like seventh at Christmas once and then ended up being relegated. Being top after the first three games of the season is a meaningless statistic. Even in the games we won the performances weren’t there and the underlying numbers back that up, and ultimately that’s catching up with us now. By a number of metrics including expected goals per game we are worse than bottom placed and winless Norwich, you can talk about transitions all you want but this Spurs side should not be the worst team in the league and the numbers suggest that we are, and that even our current mid table position is false.

Benitezis a great manager bur the issue is if he doesn't have funds he automatically builds from the back and makes his teams solid first, which can be detrimental to their style. Once he has the players he can actually play some great attacking football. Short team I don't think the football would be great.

Benitez is a stubborn guy though and I just don't think him and levy would work. Maybe I'm wrong. Guy certainly knows world football and always finds some gems.

Can’t be bothered with his boring defensive football

If we win every game until the end of the season 1-0, nobody would care.
“Nice football” is a load of sheite.
As if you come out of a game saying “we lost 3-0 but played some great football”. Doesn’t happen.
