I have spoken quite bravely and openly as to why I think we will win the title this season, I cannot hide from that and nor will I. Whilst I have talked a lot about the quality and depth of our squad, I feel I have neglected to mention how many leaders we have inside that dressing room. You can have all the quality in the world, but without the right characters you won't get very far. For example a few years ago when Liverpool claimed the title, Klopp spoke of them having 4 senior leaders/captains.
As of now I think we have:
Maguire
Varane
Shaw
Bruno
McTominay
Pogba
Matic
Rashford
Ronaldo
Cavani
That all fit into the category of senior leader/captain material. Each and every single one of them are fighters who display tremendous leadership skills on and off the pitch for us. It will be a long old season in which we will be tested, fortunately for us we have the dressing room to withstand most tests and get over the line IMO.
I expect a routine 3 points at Leicester this Saturday and then another Ole spanking of Klopp at Old Trafford. Oh don't forget also that they go to Watford who have the new manager bounce, in an early kickoff too, so that game is a potential banana skin for the scousers. I think I saw that Jota is injured for them too which adds to TAA and Thiago's injuries... if I am not wrong I think the last time they went to Watford they got beat quite badly as well.
