If, and it’s a big if, we win, we go fifth, joint on points with fourth.

I don’t think performances have been acceptable, but after 8 games I wouldn’t have too many other complaints - having played City, Chelsea and Arsenal.

I’m seriously down on us at the moment but have to say IF we do win tomorrow with that start of season fixtures and disruption we have had …

Well It’s not as bad as myself and others say perhaps

Just failing to warm to Nuno the manager (the bloke is alright) and the continued Jose style football

If a win will kick start our season, you can guarantee we’ll fack it.

Someone said on a previous thread we need to be on the front foot like against Villa. I am 90% sure that we will play the polar opposite of this. We will give them the ball and basically wait until they score and then maybe try and play.

Front foot football needs aggressive, hardworking mentalities.

Dele and Kane are two culprits of this, both have got lazy on and off the ball. They need to show fight from the kick off. If they don't then they should get hauled off.

Dier is terrible but Skipp and Hojbjerg will cover up his lack of quality.

All depends on the Team Nuno sets out. Sad to say but teams usually copy managers mentality. Nuno needs to show more energy for this to translate to players. His relaxed jazz bar vibe won't work for some of these overpaid Divas.

Wilson is back for the Barcodes, I can see him and Maximimum having some joy, their players will be playing for their futures, it will be like a new manager bounce for them.

Add to that our gutless and lazy players who can not be bothered to even run, and you have the recipe for a similar day to the Woolwich match.

I think this is generally lies. Instead of squad it's probably Winks and Dele. Same ol culprits.

Has anyone seen or have a link to anything confirm which players have Covid?

I have seen absolutely nothing excepted a piece on the BBC site saying two first team players are infected.

Maybe it is being kept under wraps to stop Bruce setting his team up to take advantage, who knows?🤔
