Meh.

"Everything about it....Starting line up. Tactics. In-game management. Individual performances. From start to finish, just disgraceful.

This is the worst United team I have ever seen. How this man is still in a job is beyond me, and it is shameful that the board continue to let this happen week in week out....15pts behind City on Dec 1st.

Our club are accepting this dross".

*bloodred et al.

Manchester United fought back from two goals down to secure a point but their Premier League struggles continued with a 2-2 draw at Southampton.

All the goals came in the first half at St Mary's and it was Southampton who raced into an early two-goal lead thanks to Stuart Armstrong's third goal in two games (13) and a stunning free-kick from Cedric Soares (20).

United, who started with Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic in a back three alongside Phil Jones, put a lacklustre opening behind them with two goals in six minutes as Romelu Lukaku (33) and Ander Herrera (39) brought Jose Mourinho's side level, but they could not find a winner in what was a poor second half.

*skysports.

Ahhh December 2018.

I guess it could be worse, but it isn't a load better.

For me, Ole has until the end of the season, he should be allowed to figure out a solution, although, as others have pointed out, he next 8 games and a dismal return will/should likely signal the end.

He needs to shake this squad up too many are playing knowing they wont be dropped, others simply know they have no chance of being picked. Failure to be braver does not promote thoughts that this will get better.

I do think, as maligned as it is Fred and McTominay are what is best for us in midfield. But, as I said above, shuffle the pack.... please can we see if Van de Beek is good or not these days... as I really have no idea.

To complete the look back in history here is the team from that 2018 game against the Saints.

Manchester United: De Gea (7), Young (6), Jones (6), Matic (6), Shaw (7), McTominay (6), Fellaini (6), Herrera (7), Pogba (6), Rashford (8), Lukaku (7).

Subs: Dalot (6), Martial (6), Lingard (n/a)

If only there was a manager available up in Scotland who broke a monopoly when it didn't seem possible...

Conte would be another Jose failure! Rather we go for a manager who’s not past it and has a clear identity. I’d want ten hag and vds to join him with the project of getting united back to the elite. I’d sack off all the current coaches and bring Ajax’s best! Also hire some coaches from Germany also.

Any specific German coaches?
