Gareth Southgate would probably be high up on the choice for replacements from these muppet owners.
Would you honestly put it them when they do eventually give up on Ole? I certainly don't. I think he'd definitely be in their thinking for sure worryingly.
All I will say is that I hope the Ole outers fully embrace him as the 'anyone would be better' cries do the rounds right now.
Worryingly the more I think about it the more I think they could go for him. They probably see what he's done with England and some young players as perfect for for us.
Oh the joys on here if that happens. đđđđđ
Careful what you wish for......

Many want the manager out after nearly three years of crap performances.
The expectations at United have clearly dwindled over the years since Fergie left, hence why Ole is still in the job and has many fans backing him still.
Nobody is good enough if the expectations are to repeat what Fergie did. But I don’t think there’s anyone that has that expectation, because it’s a ridiculously unrealistic one. Playing good football and competing for top honours isn’t.

a valid point, but just look at the varied approach to managerial appointments since Ferguson retired.
Moyes - a proven PL manager who had earned the right to step up at a bigger club and was endorsed by Ferguson himself.
He wasn’t given any time.
Van Gaal - a proven top class manager.
Jose - a proven top class manager, and one who did actually win trophies, despite his toxic nature. This toxic nature was known about, so why he was ever appointed remains a mystery.
Ole - a boot room acquisition, a la Liverpool’s 1970’s and 80’s approach which proved so successful for them. I still maintain that Ole was appointed and has Ferguson behind him as a silent motivator calling the shots - something that Van Gaal and Jose wouldn’t allow because of their stature in the game.
Every single managerial appointment has politics behind it.
United are fumbling and have been hoping for almost the last decade. Yet they remain right up there, perhaps not genuinely challenging for the top honours but certainly not falling away into mediocrity. And yet despite all of this, the fans are clearly and understandably not happy, and coming out with articles like this descrediting managers who have not even been mentioned once as possible successors to Ole.
It all just seems so desperate.

And that varied approach hasn’t brought good football or a competitive team at the top, let alone both. Which is why most would consider them failures.
Southgate’s actually been mentioned as a target for the United job in the media, actually. But this article is more a piiiisstake out of the decision makers of the club based on their history of appointing the wrong men as manager. Don’t see the issue. We can laugh about it.

Your fans took the p out of your own club for 40 years before you won the Arab Lotto. Short memories now you lot with your oil rich UAE overlords.

This isn’t about City. While your deflection is predictable coming from you, it nevertheless completely misses the point.
And it also doesn’t negate the point being made.
Stay on topic.
