One can see why Rennes fans were desperate to keep him.
Even go as far as saying that he's their best ever 'keeper (which is testament to how far he's come along and considering they had Cech) and we got him at a steal.
Rennes fans were expecting double what we paid for him, Marina Granovskaia had other ideas.

Nope, there are quite a few that had made up their mind that Mendy will only serve a purpose as a short-term stop-gap (based on nonsense) for someone like Donarumma or Onana.
Disdain shown from the outset due to being a relatively unknown quantity.
They know themselves...
Pleased we didn't have to go through the process of dealing with Raiola for Donarumma (or Haaland). Sensible.
Getting into bed with that odious so-and-so is a crime.

Nah it was just me (on here) who had significant enough doubts throughout last season to warrant being called out.
I was wrong, life moves on. I know in CMF land nothing is ever that simple but I assure you it is.

Are you taking all the credit here....there were a few who weren't too sure when he first came...
I think Kepa has improved a lot too....decent defence helps a lot mind...which we now have in shed loads

No-one held out as long as me, most converted after the United match. Tbf I probably would've sooner but he had a period last season where he had one 'oh wtf are you doing?' moment every match. Made me lag behind the rest
Yeah Kepa's been alright lately. Still tense up whenever he's facing shots but what you gunna do.
