Two big issues

1. Playing out from deep

We're terrible at it , yet we insist on doing it every single time. We keep shooting ourselves in the foot and causing our own problems with our obsession with playing out from the back time after time.

2. Pressing the ball

All the top teams in Europe do it. They constantly press the ball and are desperate to retrieve it as quickly as possible from the opposition.
For some reason , United simply do not do that. We allow the opposition to literally walk with the ball to the halfway line before you even see any sort of pressure from our players.

These two particular issues , like so many others in fact , have hurt us a lot in recent years but we still haven't managed to resolve them.

Ole may not be up to the job, but he's done nothing that to warrant that
----------------------------------------------------------------------

How is it childish to call a manager championship standard? Childish would be to call him a poo-poo head or something or that ilk.

It’s not a stretch to think a guy who got sacked from a championship club a championship manager. And I’m willing to make a bet with someone on here he doesn’t get a PL job after this one.

Remember, opinions are just that, sorry if they trigger you into thinking they’re childish

Smalling was sold because Maguire is better on the ball.

Sadly Maguire is pretty crap at that too. Can be pressed in to a mistake and holds on the ball for too long. Then slowly passes to the side.

Totally agree with both points.

However, in the stands we were calling for us to put more pressure on Villarreal at the back, when we did, they cut through us like a knife.

I've said it before , watching Harry Maguire slowly walk with the ball ( and I do mean "walk" ) is the ugliest sight there is in football.
