In amongst the gloom on the weekend a certain Marcus Rashford scored a very good goal and reminded us all that while some bed wetting cretins called him Trashford, he’s actually arguably our best player when not playing with an injury. Fitness permitting he should be one of the first names on the teamsheet from now on. If that is the case, what does that mean for Greenwood/Sancho?
Does that mean Sancho finally gets to start on the right ? Or does Greenwood keep his place after that goal against Leicester (although it was one of the few good things he did).
I understand rotation is a thing but imo the best way for any manager, Ole included to put together a winning run is to get a settled 11 and play them 95% of the time and get some understanding for said players.

Nah it’s just obvious Robb. Learn from your mistakes! United need to
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Conte is a top class manager at his peak. Since SAF left we haven’t hired one. It’s time we did it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And comes with as much baggage as Jose.
Short term fix yet again. We aren't learning. I'd be more on board with a project like Ten Hag or even Poch ffs. Conte will come in and probably do a Jose and have some short term success before it all explodes again. Same thing happens to him everywhere he's gone.
And if he does go 352 then what do we do with Sancho? Sell him?
Rashford and Greenwood can play through the middle so they'd be fine. Sancho would be the odd man out already.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sancho played in a top 2 at times for Dortmund. He’s a clever player who can play anywhere across the front three. Plus, and I can’t stress this enough, Conte also plays 343 which would probably suit our squad better than 352.
Regarding short term fix - that’s what we need as we’re going nowhere with Ole. This squad of players who are sick of zero tactical instruction and no trophies will have exactly the guy to deliver that. And he’d likely have his best ever relationship at United as whatever you think of the Glazers and most of its true, they don’t interfere with the manager as much as other clubs which Conte would love.

Zidane doesn’t speak English and is apparently holding out for the France/PSG job. He’s apparently also said he’ll never play or manage in England

It would, if we had a RWB, at least one more CB, two new CMs and we didn’t have Pogba.

Sounds like a ‘come and get me’ plea.

Tbf any new manager coming in with whatever system probably needs to bring in 3/4 players as the Ole rebuild has neglected some key areas. Plus Pogba is probably off anyway.
Ole signed 3 players this past window. Give Conte the job and in the next summer window he brings in 3 players - right wing back, CB, CM and our squad isnt so far away from working with 3 at the back as it is.

Sancho won’t do well here because he does have those moments in him imho. We are not a team but a bunch of individuals and sancho to me looks like a player who does well in organised and coherent teams
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Same reason why DVB doesn't get a chance either. He's a player that needs to play in a system, pass, move and look for space. He isn't a moments player like Bruno, Rashford or Greenwood. I think Ole knows his own limitations as a manager so he will play a team that will somehow pull a result for him without a specific system in place and hope for a moment of individual brilliance. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't...like the EL final.

Young, good football, proper coach and one that has shown pedigree at a high level. But the club is too short sighted and stupid to do that.
----------------------
Well it's not really that simple is it? As well as Ten Haag has done its been within an extremely well run club with a well-defined structure and philosophy from top to bottom. United is a totally different ball game for a coach. It'd be an enormous gamble.
The next man will be Rodgers or Poch imo.
