Cole Palmer

The future's bright; the future's blue.
Great goal after his hat-trick against Leicester.

With the likes of Tommy Doyle, Liam Delap, et al... we're on a good way.

It's difficult to argue that the investment in the Academy and campus isn't paying off - both in terms of a cash farm and a fee-less route to getting the best players on the pitch. A club, self-sufficient, challenging on all levels and bringing through local lads from the community - well, whatever happened to 'When the Sheik gets bored?"

City are so behind the proper way to run a club. Bringing youngsters through into the team clearly won't raise the value of the club so the owners can sell shares and make profit. Bringing in talented but past it players who disrupt the team but raise the share price has to be the future. Perhaps we can sign Pele?

Took his goal brilliantly, couple of times his close control wasn't as good but really cool in front of goal. Could have given Sterling a goal but seemingly he couldn't score a goal if the keeper was sat on the centre spot.

The future is bright, the future is blue.

Sterling is shocking, missed at least 4 goals, if you'd bought Kane instead of Grealish you would have scored 10 goals it was so easy, just no-one with that goal scorers instinct

We’ll settle for 5 and keep the £160m for a younger striker

Agreed, thankfully we didn’t sign Kane, far to old for that price tag, spurs have an unhappy player.

I actually feel sorry for Kane. he really wanted to play for a world class manager and team and nobody can begrudge him that.

If they offer him for less next summer I would hope we still buy him.
