Few takes on tonight

The individual errors at the back need to stop.

The first goal was down to switching off and maguire and Shaw were left in no mans land with the corner... get man tight ffs.

Decent game of football to watch, and despite being 2-0 down at half time it reminded me of the juve game in 99 where you just had this feeling it wasn't quite over... we could and probably should have been at least level at half time.

Second half we had more energy about us and you could see that after just 30 seconds of the half.

Thought Fred had a decent game in the middle of the park.
Thought Bruno gave the ball away far too much throughout the game though and his overall play was pretty sloppy.

I think it's only a matter of time before ole goes, but it's nights like tonight that make football what it is and definitely a result and second half performance worth enjoying

I think it's also pretty safe to say ole still has the dressing room

It’s a symptom of the structural issues we have when we defend. It’s hardly a surprise it happens so often.

Sadly this. If it was fergie, (to be honest, klopp, Pep, ) I do not think Pogba starts another game for us. And he would have read the riot act on players like Bruno, Maguire. I just feel its a symptom of the type of person who ole is. He has an even keeled emotional set up. It transmits to the team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The problem isn't Pogba. The problem is we've got too many seemingly 'undroppable' players in attacking positions and we're cramming them into the team at the expense of workrate, defensive ring craft and a coherent blend of players who offer good shape out of possession and a threat in transition.

United's best teams always had players who put in a real shift every game regardless of their natural talents; Beckham, Giggs, Keane, Butt, Fletcher, Park, Welbeck, Hargreaves, Rooney, Tevez, Valencia, Hernandez etc...

It's possible to put a team out that mirrors the qualities that the above players had in that respect but it would involve some big decisions from Ole. And even then, it would likely only address some of the problems in terms of team shape, desire for the less glamorous side of the game etc... The passing and team play would probably still be a mess.

No it’s a symptom of the lack of organisation, it’s not about the players and personality of the manager.

We saw a lot of organisation and personality. My frustration is it came in the 2nd half. Over 90 mins and we may have seen a glimpse 👌👍

Ole has the dressing room in the same way that you have a best mate who you love to hang around with but if they asked you to get them an interview at your place of work you’d say there was nothing available…

Why would you do that to a friend?

I’m sure many of us have got that one friend who we love dearly but acknowledge they’re a bit of a car crash and wouldn’t put our professional reputations on the line by suggesting them for a job…

A very enjoyable game that was hugely flawed. I also wouldn’t say that the performance shows that the dressing room hasn’t been lost, I don’t know if it has or not but players can still look to try/care even if they maybe don’t agree with the manager. Rashford was rusty (which was to be expected) but showed us what we’ve been missing.

Plus at the work Christmas party they have a few drinks and start talking about the Vegas dead hooker you all swore never to mention again. After that, trips to the water cooler are met with some fearful looks.

The issue this is same old same old. We already know we won’t win the title and that’s unacceptable
----------------------------------------------------------------------
its unacceptable that we wont be champions.

Are you for real?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He’s saying it’s unacceptable that we already know that.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
but we don't know that
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, those being realistic know it.
