Is there light at the end of the tunnel ?

Well according to the DET there 'appears' to be :

"Wayne Rooney has been assured there are two "very serious and credible offers" to buy Derby County and that he should start planning for the January transfer window, according to The Transfer Window Podcast.

On the podcast, football journalists Ian McGarry and Duncan Castles discuss the situation at Derby.

The Rams went into administration five weeks ago and they were deducted 12 points, sending them to the bottom of the Championship.

Andrew Hosking and Carl Jackson of business advisory firm Quantuma were installed as joint administrators and they set about finding a buyer for the club.

The message from the outset was of a number of potential purchasers showing considerable interest.

The search for a buyer continues, and McGarry has claimed: "Derby County, their administrators have assured Wayne Rooney and his coaching staff that they have two very serious and credible offers to buy the club and that they should start to prepare plans for recruitment in January, which of course has not been something they have been able to do until now.
"There is money available apparently and potentially for transfer fees and for contracts for new players, and they are looking for two strikers and an attacking wide midfielder.

"Obviously Derby have suffered the 12-point deduction for going into administration which has left them bottom of the division but the results have been relatively remarkable, I suppose you could say, in the circumstances.

"Maybe, just maybe they are going to turn the corner."

....We can hope.....UTR

9ear, I meant that it is in a legal firms interest to get you to take action, (i.e. they get some work to do for which you are charged). I'm sure they don't work on the "no win, no fee" principle in such cases.

When they say billionaire now it doesn't mean they have a billion dollars. It is mainly based on share price and the use of that share price to attract more funding.. As the late not great Robert Maxwell used to say, wealth doesn't matter, it is access to wealth that counts. If banks are happy to move lots of money your way you are rich unless they suspect you can't handle the interest payments. Buying Derby will soon test the bank's nerve.

Kirchner, has stated that he is not a billionaire on a Twitter post.

If nothing else, Kirchner coming into the open should speed up the other bid(s) that are staying in the background.

It has also inclined Wycombe to put in a claim of around £6m for lost TV revenue!

Yes, but that's a farce Jorvik. A complete waste of time by Wycombe.

Have Wycombe ever been on the tele?

Imagine the TV audience for the game Wycombe vs Peterborough. Send them an e mail with two words, the last one which is off.

As I was busily trying to get to sleep last night it suddenly hit me I might have accused Wigan instead of Wycombe! And now I find that's just what I did.

Apologies to Wigan. Wycombe can just Wander off as my comments made earlier still stand. No lawyer worth his salt would have advised them to claim. Their lawyers may well have advised them not to and W have chosen not to take that advice.
