Football isn't played on paper

Footballers such as Henderson & Firmino are often referred to as players we should upgrade on, even sometimes by people who have played football at a good level. I wonder whether these people understand football.

It's funny because their teams are crying out for those exact types of players. They laugh at Naby Keita or Thiago when they're injured or because of 'stats', they called Klopp a loser, we overpaid for Van Dijk and Salah was a stupid signing.

I think it's time we stopped listening to these fools. Because no doubt we'll be haring about Bruno & Harry Kane's stats vs some semi pro team soon enough.

before henderson broke his leg he had by far the best pass completion rate and the most passes attempted.
wasnèt that before klopp.
i also remember an awful lot of worldly ones among them. i think because fergie said he runs funny people formed a bad impression of him. at least utd fans.

When you say bar far you mean amongst Liverpool players or in the premier league? And was that every season before he broke his legs or one or 2.

Be specific

chases and works his backside off all game and got 17 goals in 39 appearances over a striker who before this season had 21 in 100 games.
--------------

Hasn't Firmino outscored Cavani in the Prem since his arrival.

I mean, yeah, cite goals scored in a competition that we're too good to enter by all means but that's stat massaging at it's finest.

if you want to get down to the bare bones has averaged a goal every 3 games since he arrived... quite often from the bench.

in that time firminho has averaged 3.3... so to answer your question.. no he hasnt outscored him.

is there that much of a difference between the 2 that the scousers would get so upset about someone preferring cavani??

i rest my case about being butt fecked

No I really like Cavani, but he has 9 Prem goals since joining and yet going by some Utd fans on here you'd think he was prime RvN.

Also, I am not sure you know what "out scored" means.

liverpool fans get so butt fecked when someone questions one of their players.

i mentioned the other day i would take cavani, a player i really rate over firminho and one liverpool fan couldnt understand why i would want a striker who
chases and works his backside off all game and got 17 goals in 39 appearances over a striker who before this season had 21 in 100 games.

anything less than a CL and PL double this season will be a massive massive disappointment for Liverpool this year as apparently they have the best player in the world in every position... no pressure
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you've tried to mention what Cavani is good at but then mentioned Firmino's goalscoring record where we all know that's not his best attribute.

Fair play if you want your striker to score goals, but in that case you'd want a striker who can hit more than 10 league goals, which Cavani hasn't managed for 2 seasons now, especially considering who he has played for as well.

I can't understand why you'd want a striker who isn't as good as another striker, just because they fulfill different roles.

You never had our number. You win at home we win at home. The anfield wins were over stated because your team used to be gash and often the results were a shock.

I remember the 5-0 when you went down to Ten. That’s recent enough

I remember some big wins recently both in Europe and domestically until Foden emerged.

You had that one where we had 10 men years ago, the goal line clearance game and one days after we win the title.

Otherwise we were whooping you in the Cometitive games. Everyone and their dog knows it
