You have to ask why he isn’t being selected. More often than not with young players it is because they are not as good as we hope.

Williams for example reminded me of a young Stuart Pierce when he first came into the side. Since then the defensive part of is game has really regressed.

Williams looked a player when he first broke into the side before lockdown but he has regressed since then for whatever reason.

Saw one Villa game this season (can't remember which) and Tuanzebe was all over the place. I know loans are hard to analyse but you'd hope having already had a loan there he'd be quite settled, doesn't help that Villa in general have been poor this season.

Can't see any of them making it at United (apart from Laird who I've not really seen) but that's fine, it takes a special talent to make it at the top and still being able to play in the Championship or similar level is very impressive and I hope we make a bit of money from these sorts of players.

Tuanzebe is a hard one to call. Some days he looks very assured other days very erratic. We did well to get 5 mill for a loan deal.

I think Tuanzebe is an easy call thatvhe won’t make it due to his erratic performances which far surpass his good ones.

Unfortunately I have to agree. Which I hate to admit, as he looked very promising.

I completely agree. I have no idea what the Farke is going on here as Gilmour should be running Norwich's midfield but can't get a run of games.

Farke is a specialist in promotion and a specialist in relegation.

He's almost 24 and it would be evident if he was going to make it now. He'll be a half-decent player for a lower Prem side, or a nailed-on starter in teams battling for promotion in the Championship.

It can often happen with academy players breaking into a team, playing on adrenaline and so performing above the level they are actually at.

But I didn't even think Wililams looks good playing on adrenaline. Apart from that really well taken goal at Sheffield United he's been pretty crap.

I wasn’t that impressed with him either, but he showed some promise and then the drop off was massive.
