sancho and grealish are both decent players who have a lot to offer both clubs and england over the next god knows how many years... why cant we just enjoy watching them play for club and country without pulling them down

It’s not, Kane would have been a better signing for that money.

Kane is not the player he was, steady decline starting this year and niggleing injuries to slowly end his career.
Now if they were trying to sign haaland and instead signed grelish I'd agree with you.

Because Kane is clearly not happy with the situation at Spurs and their team had been playing like complete shiiiiiit all season. Put Kane in this City team and you see a better Kane and a better City team.

You think? I see Rosicky with the way he moves with the ball.

This is something I’ve wondered whether Kane is in decline or whether it’s not getting his move that’s responsible. Probably both but sway towards decline. Conte may prove this wrong. As for ESR, decent player, but grealish is a lot better.

I thought the exact same until he started being more of a goal threat. I reckon he's had at least 1 good chance a game so far this season. Definitely been working on it. Sacrificed his passing and dribbling in the final third, but we need more goals so I'll take it

Sancho was never going to be "a season changing signing" - one for the future hopefully.

Grealish might have been though. More useful than players like rashford or even Greenwood - although at least Greenwood has the opportunity to develop, whereas rashford has already 'peaked' about 3 sessons ago at ordinary.

As for how sancho may have done at mcfc, we'll never know, but it is unlikely he would get more games there then at United.

Ultimately, United should have bought both.
