MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head
Leeds are looking to win consecutive league games against Leicester for the first time since December 1999.
Leicester have won four of their past five league visits to Leeds, as many as they had on their previous 16 trips to Elland Road.
The Foxes could earn three league wins in a row at Leeds for the first time in their history.

Leeds United
Leeds' tally of 10 points is their lowest after 10 matches of a league campaign since the 2006-07 Championship season in which they were relegated.
Their three leading Premier League goalscorers last season have only contributed one goal between them so far in 2021-22.
Four teenagers have appeared for Leeds in the Premier League this campaign, the most of any club. No teenager played for them in the top flight last season.

Leicester City
Leicester are one short of 200 Premier League victories.
They are vying to score in 13 consecutive top-flight away matches for the first time since April to December 1960.
The Foxes have not recorded a clean sheet since the opening weekend of the season.
They have conceded 18 set-piece goals (excluding penalties) since the start of last season; only Crystal Palace have let in more.

Not sure how this is going to pan out, if we can keep Vardy quiet and Our Lads play the way we know they can we have a good chance of getting something , I think my 2-1 has a good chance with Rodders getting both assisted by Raph and Dan

So good to see Forshaw starting and playing like that. Special mention for Struijk who was brilliant at left back considering the circumstances. Very impressive performance to do that ti Leicester. Should have won and probably would have if Bamford was fit

But the tactics were spot on. Leicester we’re hardly in the game and realised a draw would be a great really early on. We were basically 4-1-4-1 and then 4-2-3-1 in the second half.

Such a shame that Harrison and James are struggling as much as they are on the ball because they both should have done better when put into the right areas.

One of Rodrigo’s best games…especially when pressing.

On the whole the side was incredible when pressing and clearly targeted Soyuncu who did not enjoy life when Leicester wanted to play it out from the back.

Still problems, obviously conceding like that straight after scoring. And wasting decent opportunities. However, relegated sides don’t dominate sides like Leicester the way we have today

Phillips was no where near his best either. I’m sure he will get there soon. Got some warm up games for England coming up to get more game time.

Dallas seems to have shrugged off early season struggles.

Harrison was better than against Norwich but still well short of next season. We all know he’s doing everything possible to find that form again and I’m sure it will come at some point.

James has a lot to do to justify the price tag. If he can just sort his technique out he will be lethal. Hopefully that’s possible.

Great game to be at. We looked like our old selves. Forshaw was everywhere and had a great game. He’s so composed on the ball and rarely gives it away.

Going forward we looked great and we now have the pace of James to play a long ball when needed. Just a pity he hasn’t scored yet because I think that would ignite his season.

Pascal was excellent today as well - in fact the whole team were.

I said I’d be happy with 1-1 before the game but in truth we deserved so much more than that today.

Cheers guys and gals - dinner awaits 👍

Great game. A few comments saying it was a point gained, I thought it was 2 dropped given how we dominated large parts of the fans. There’s a player in there somewhere in James, think we will have to be patient with that one - does everything right until the final bit

Dallas is more natural on the right. Forshaw was excellent. Rodrigo played well too. Struijk is so underated. Harrison improved from his recent performances. All in all very happy.

Think everyone would be delighted to see James get a goal

Foreshaw staying fit is the important thing for us now and I didn't expect to be saying that this season but it can't be a coincidence that our best performance of the season coincided with Foreshaw's brilliant game dominating midfield for us... Hallelujah!

A real Leeds performance with fabulous performances all over the pitch. Forshaw was the standout, but Struijk, Raph and Dallas were superb. MOTM was Bielsa, bringing great football to Elland Road despite freakish injuries to key players. He gets my pubis excited.

Was a great performance today. It was refreshing to see us play like that again. I worry about our lack of goals though. We should have won today and had it not have been for their offside goal being disallowed, we would have lost. Harrison was better but his decision making in their pen box let us down a few times today. Overall a good point, but feels like it should have been 3!

Raphinha & Rodrigo have also scored three goals more than De Bruyne & Jesus, two more goals than Kane & Son, two more goals than Saka & Aubameyang & are only one league goal behind Ronaldo & Fernandes this season.

A chaotic performance.
Error ridden in both finals thirds but overall we shaded the game and would have won had either Dallas not misjudged the ball or Barnes score that superb goal OR Harrison / James / Rodrigo played better. Harrison I have sympathy for as he’s not getting any help from Struijk in terms of pulling defenders away from him.
