Terence Wilson AKA Astro from the band UB40 has passed away

Astro 64 passed away after a short illnesses

I was lucky enough to see Astro and the split version of UB40 at Kew Gardens a few years ago

Brilliant venue and their tunes on a hot summers evening made it amazing

R I P big man

Thanks for the music and the memories.

They started off with some political stuff in their early days but evolved as they went on

Love sitting in the garden in the summer with a cold Peroni or 6 listening to Labour Of Love 2 album.

I remember owning those first couple on vinyl back in the day, just couldn’t understand why they started with those covers, lost my interest around 83 onwards
