Refereeing and Danny WWE Rose

Just how the hell do you crack a player with a running forearm following through with a clothesline and stay on the damned pitch? Not really one for the "Ref's conspiracy against AFC" but that challenge was a blatant red and there's no way any Arsenal player can have make those and stay on the pitch. "Looking at the ball." so feckin what, he knows full well Lacazette is in front of him and literally (and quite deliberately) leads in with his forearm, then after he cracks him stretches his arm out to make sure.

They've seriously got to start addressing the inconsistency in refereeing. Refs should be having a Mon panel review every week also and where BS decisions like todays can be overturned and players getting the 3 match bans they should do. Refs have got to start being scrutinised and their inconsistent decisions be MADE consistent one way or another come Mon mornings. They can't keep have players sent off for next to no contact in one match whilst someone gets clean away with what Rose did today in another. That type of situation needs to see either a sent off player's ban rescinded or (more likely/sensible option) one applied to the player whom should have been sent off and wasn't.

The refs inconsistency is getting WORSE not better so the referees can clearly no longer be trusted to self regulate, they need oversight which FORCES them to be more consistent even when they don't want to be. VAR is exposing their various different biases against different teams, week in week out now,
