Today was just a case of poor goalkeeping and playing against a well drilled side in good form.

The Liverpool side who won the PL peaked, and they won’t reach that sublime level again without tweaks to the squad and tactics. However I think you’ll still be there abouts this season, second favourites behind city for me.

Why does the Liverpool manager have to be such a whiner? His post-game claims that his goalkeeper was interferred with on the first goal are incorrect. Experienced players, now commentators, agreed along with the referee and VAR that there was no foul on the first goal! Goalkeepers are too often treated by officials as an endangered species when going for balls on corners. WHU simply outplayed a very shakey Liverpool today and deserved to win. It is also a WIN for the very predictable PL competition. Well done WHU!

Believe it or not, every call does not have to go Liverpool's way. Actually, one commentator floated the possibility that the goalkeeper shoved to WHU player in the back. In any case, enough important expert opinions ruled that there was no foul, and that is good enough for me.

GT, pretty sure I saw endless comments from you about how your defence and fabinho are going to handle Antonio, and once he's handled they've got nothing else.

Did a pretty good job of that I might say. Carry on.
