Well I said recently beeb, about three weeks. Paid for a years subscription to Nord vpn, and so far so good.

Fair point VC. I never watch any of those, feck me I'm old.
But I'm surprised it got on the beeb really. I'm out of date with UK TV, I've only just got iPlayer.

I get to watch a load of French TV, with subtitles, on a Chanel called MHZ (through Roku). All the stuff you would get on normal TV.

It has great German, Swedish, Norway and Italian stuff as well.

Considering Nord. One VPN I haven’t yet tried. Tunnelbear was excellent for years. Read a number of good reviews about it, but I’m even sceptical about on-line reviews these days, due to my on-going and rather debilitating chronic cynicism.

Nord, ipvanish or expressvpn are all fine Beeb, just go with whichever one you can get the cheapest

I’m on my 3rd year with PrivateVPN, great for iPlayer in Europe.

I’ve never had to use customer service with any of those, I’ve only changed when I’ve found a better deal tbh as they tend to have an amazing price for the first year then bump it up if you renew, I’m sure you could threaten to leave and get it cheap again (like I do with sky every year!), I’ve just never bothered
