Mayweather didn't really duck anybody. He just arguably fought a fair number of opponents when they had seen better days. Maybe you could say he ducked Antonio Margarito but he wasn't a PPV attraction at the time and we all know now about the incident with Shane Mosley.

When I was at school people accused me of ducking Richard Farrell who offered me out after I smashed his lunchbox up. They didn’t realise I was in detention at the time, so I know how Mayweather feels having these unjust accusations. The cream always rises to the top though - look how he schooled Canelo who is now regarded as the worlds best. Similarly I silenced the doubters when I took Farrell out with a viciously executed flying headbutt at the bus stop the next afternoon. That same month I also put away Ian Wilkinson, Mark Smith and Jamie ‘Lizard Face’ Alexander to finish the term undefeated and cement my position as no1, just like Mayweather did.

Certainly don’t think we owe him something but he comes across as a decent man and it’s nice to see him revive his career.

Moyes has unfinished business at United. Moyes in!!!
