only 2 things matter in child abuse cases, that victims are provided with care and help to deal with the trauma of it and that the perpetrators are punished.

This article was just to be snide, i assume magnum has you blocked so you couldn't comment on the popular article of the evening so decided to throw this together so that people might get involved.

I don't doubt for one minute the topic won't be discussed at length as the case is heard or after it is concluded. I don't know if these things get reported on whilst ongoing. However the subject will I hope be moderated with the respect, mindfulness and tact by whichever OP feels such topics merit debating or discussion on the site and not just a casual quip in a comment that ads little more than increased ill feeling across the site.

saying that SG's departure papers over the case is just incredibly insensitive to the victims and a horrible thing to suggest.

One is football related the other is such a dark period in society.
