Ole abuse

It's sad that a guy who gave us one of the biggest moments in the clubs history is being given so much abuse by Bellends on here.

The guy bleeds utd and you can see clearly that what is happening at the club is hurting him more than anyone sat on this site

I think we all agree that he isn't up to the job but is all the name calling of a club legend really necessary?

It's pretty disgusting to be honest.

Plump, you sound like Ace mate.

without any of the wit, intelligence, or humour. though they do have one thing in common, neither of them is a united fan.

as to the op, i'm not quite sure why some posters seem to believe that abuse of the manager is too much, but abuse of the players is fair game.

apparently the distinction is that ole has clearly done his best, but has he? has he surrounded himself with the right people, addressed the appropriate gaps in the squad, bought the right players, rotated the squad properly, allowed players to come back from injury gradually, communicated properly to squad players etc etc?

why is it fine to hurl abuse at the players, but everyone should show deference to the (ex) manager because he scored a goal 22 years ago?

It's a fair point. I think criticising performance is absolutely fine. I'm a negative gobshite, so I'm far from innocent in that regard. But comments of a personal level towards players is just as unacceptable as it is towards Ole.

I don't think I've ever crossed that line. Hopefully not anyway. No excuse for it

Hes being.paid millions of pounds a year to do what he does. To put it.into perspective, bojo earns a fraction of what he does and gets pasted everyday. Im not even political, couldnt give a fack.

Its par for the course. Gerrard will be exactly the same in his career if he gets the dream job. Its obvs not panned out how he hoped but just move on and let by gones be by gones. His legacy as a player will prevail in the same way souness's does with us.

It's heartening to see that some United genuine fans still stick up for Ole and his legacy to the club. Good show OP for posting this article . Despite mostly the awful rhetoric seen on the issue, most true footballing fans support your stand.

It goes with the territory sadly. Some idiots take it too far. All that aside, Ole should never have been made manager, too nice and ill equipped to manage an elite level club, not his fault.

Disagree. I think he’s done what was needed as a manager for both post-SAF and where we were. It lasted a little too long so has drifted into a situation.

He’s built a better team / squad than any of the other post SAF managers. Most of us came into this season feeling relatively positive, maybe not title winning aspirations but positive. I haven’t felt closer than I felt at the start of this season. Time to change? Yes of course but for me Ole did what I wanted of him; it just went a bit too far for whatever reason(s) but I think even this season could be semi turned around with the right immediate replacement.

I thank him for the rebuild job

This op is a stupid imbecile and hypocrite.
All the abuse he's given to fans who criticize the PE teacher and now he wants to get on his high horse and give us life lessons?
Feck off out of here , you muppet!

The fact that you say PE teacher says a lot imo.

For me he’s done his job and now (probably a little earlier) it’s time to move on.

Is it confirmed that Ole reads Ja606? Otherwise its not really abuse though is it?

Actually there is a real argument that the team he took over is better than the one he is leaving behind, despite spending 500 million.

Ddg older version
Shaw older version, looked poor this season
Maguire not good enough
Varane, jury is out
Awb not good enough
Fred not good enough
Mctominay not good enough
Pogba will be leaving on a free
Bruno good start but been inconsistent for 18 months
Rashford - seems to have gone backwards
Ronaldo too old
