The obvious answer is: ok, come in for him then. Instead of appointing an “interim manager”. They’re obviously not that keen or they’d have shot a phone call to the King Power stadium.

Whilst I appreciate that anything any of us read is not at all reliable, I saw a report stating Brendan wouldn't leave mid season which might explain the requirement for an interim manager, then I remember the circumstances of how he left Celtic.
