We had a brief discussion on another thread about managers being coontz.
Well I found this article by RVP on SAF. He basically talks about how we were 15 points ahead in the league and lost to City. 2 players, he doesn't name went out after the defeat.
He says they turned up to training and there were pics of the players on the walls during their night out. So timed pics 2am 3am 4am etc. SAF came in and said right lads is we lose this championship it will be because of these Aesewholes. He went on to say if he saw anyone out until the trophy was lifted he wouldn't care who they were or what they'd won they were out, transfer listed.
RVP then goes into say the next two workouts were the hardest if his life.
Contrast that to Ole and a week off.

Could you imagine Pep or Klopp being allowed to just transfer list players for something like this? I couldn’t.

I think sometimes a manager gets one free hit when they join. So Sakho messed up pre season with regards to discipline and his feet didn't touch the ground.

I find that starting a job as manager of an elite football club is very much like your first day in prison. In the canteen you need to walk up to the biggest guy in the room and smash your tray over his head so everyone knows you mean business. It helps if you happen to know he can't fight.
