West Brom v Forest - Match Thread

I nearly forgot the match thread!

Friday night in Sydney and we are in full on La Nina. A week off drizzle and humidity reminds me of an English summer. Not the good beer garden ones, but the ones with no football and a decision to go on holiday next year.

Anyway, onto the match.

Though it will come to late for West Brom, Tutu is coming back up the M1 and will shortly resume full-training. However, it doesn't ease the Bong conundrum. No Lowe, no Colback. Will we see Drager come in with Spence at LB, will Garner play LWB. However it pans out I expect to see all the pressure down our left-hand side.

* Forest are W4 D2 under Cooper away from home, West Brom are W4 D2 at home.
* West Brom have only won one of their last 5 games, but have taken 14 points from their last six home games.
* Forest have only won one of their last 5 games, but have taken 14 points from their last six home games...this is beginning to feel like deja vu.
* Forest over the last ten are 1.9 PPG and West Brom are 1.4 PPG...this is one of the easiest match threads I have ever written.

This points to a draw..although we have out-scored them recently.

Will we get a penalty? Will the Championship refereeing embarrass English football yet again? As we know, West Brom have a god-given right to be there, whereas we just catch our names on a quickly spinning CL trophy.

It's on Foxtel / Bein here, so I will be up for this one. Even if I hadn't set my alarm, my cat (Brian) would wake me up.

Prediction....1-1. Although heart say 1-0 to Forest based on the size of Yatesys balls.

This is what the BBC has to say so far:

West Brom are third in Championship
Nottingham Forest are winless in last three league games

3 is indeed the magic number, you hapless hack you.

Had them on the ropes, but no knock out punch

Should have put them under more pressure. A good point, but three were there for the taking.

A very dull game!

Your right, too many games are starting to pass Lolley bye. We’ve been poor creating decent chances, and when we have, no one on the end. Can’t complain with not losing, but we’ve got to be better at creating chances. I didn’t fancy 0-0, but the red card really favoured us.

Joe Worrall is amazing, easily mom and would have been on Tuesday but for Brice’s penalty save.

Should be picking up a few points in December. Keep ticking over till the window opens then bring in a bit of quality.

22nd, 9th, 19th, 15th, 8th and 23rd in our next six games.

We should hopefully see an improvement in our results.

That really highlighted our need for another striker. A LWB required and our wing play disappointing.

I thought Ojeda would have been a good shout, the way he looks for space would’ve disrupted their shape.

1 loss in 13...it could be a lot worse.

Nine or ten points from those six games would be good
