Nice gesture by Harry Kane

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59455715

How would you have felt if youd travelled from Dallas to Burnley to watch Burnley v Tottenham only to find the match a victim of the weather

Kane offering them tickets for a home game next time in London is a decent gesture.

Great PR exercise from Kane in attempt to make people forget that he has only scored goals against plumbers and bin men.

Neville Southall was both a bin man and a great keeper

The club are laying on free coaches for the rearranged fixture for those who missed out this time, and will also provide a refund to those who cannot make the rearranged game.

This is the absolute minimum they should be doing. And the same goes for any top flight footy club in similar circumstances.

They're shovelling in so much cash that they can afford to fork out 20, 30, 40, 50 million quid on transfers and pay each of their players millions of pounds a year.

The expense of a few coaches and a couple of hundred refunds is absolute peanuts to them.

Spurs should be paying the fans to watch the utter embarrassing performances they dish out these days.

Standard modern day fan response.

Instead of, "ok, that's good of the club" some fan who probably doesnt even attend games gets his knickers in a twist and has a rant about it.

What about the 200 fans that travelled to Slovenia to watch that shower of shiiiiit in the week? They would have also had the cost of the travel plus the accommodation alongside the utter indignity of having to sit through all that.

The only thing worse than travelling from Dallas to Burnley to watch Spurs play is travelling from Dallas to Burnley and ACTUALLY watching Spurs play. To my mind they've had an absolute result missing out.

I am not a yank although I live in the USA, I still have a Britsh passport....and as regards being thick....
I would never have even thought of going to Turf moor if I was in London.
THAT is really thick!
