That’s what I meant by no money, they finally got a manger who has the ability to build something but can’t give much more than freebies because of FFP. They are doubly fuaucked as they don’t have many saleable assets either other than Richarlison, Doucore and Calvert Lewin.

The fans were booing Van Dijk early on because he dared get injured by their hatchmen players last year.

That’s ok, they got fed up and left after 20 minutes of booing

Everton problems were laid bare last night.

It wasn't the "oh we 'll kick you til we have yellow cards then can't tackle all game" stuff.

The fact was we could walk past them. the front 2 were not backed up but they didn't close off any passing channels. It was so easy for matip to just lay the ball wide to trent who would just pass it back into themiddle to a CM standing totally free.

With respect to rafa he has to shoulder the blame for not having his side drilled to close spaces.

they had a kernal of a system to trouble us with gray but failed to do so. that pace and the ability to pull us wide should have resulted in more but they simply couldn't keep the ball and didn't have any reall plan until the crowd got going allan and digne yellows then haunted them as townsend and gray coudn't put a foot ineither so we could walk through all game.

They have bought an absolute sheeit ton of complete dross.
