On Saturday Wolves welcome Liverpool to Molineux for the first of 5 games against ‘Big 6’ clubs to be played between now and January 3rd.
Liverpool have scored more than 3 times as many goals as Wolves so far this season, whilst they are one of only 3 clubs who have conceded fewer.
Since returning to the Premier League Wolves have played 6 league games against Liverpool and lost them all with an aggregate score of 1 goal scored and 12 goals conceded.
The Reds are on a hugely impressive run of results at the moment having played 21 games in all competitions, winning 16, drawing 4 and losing just 1.
Wolves are currently sitting in 6th place in the table, 3 places behind Liverpool who have 10 points more.
Wolves go into this game on the back of a 0-0 home draw against bottom but one, Burnley on Wednesday at the same time that Liverpool were taking 3 points from their Merseyside rivals in a 4-1 win at Goodison Park.
Gem’s prediction: 0-2

I would be surprised if we don't have a good go at probably Botman again. If not then maybe there are some legs in that champo player mentioned recently.
As for goals, i am with Tam, i think it stems from the set up and a very lethargic midfield. We keep adding and switching forwards but nothing changes on the goal front.
I bet Saiss is a little disappointed the AFCON is coming up now he has nailed down a spot with us and he doesn't want to give it up.

Spiers has wrote an article in the athletic critical of Silva and a few things apparently. Had a fall out with backroom guy as well allegedly.

he singled out ki jana hoever and Trincao as well for game watching rather than warming up, it peed a coach off.

I think Saiss has had a good season. He did have a few ‘moments’ on Saturday though as he occasionally does. Personally I thought Kilman, Coady and Ait Nouri were our outstanding defenders on Saturday. I didn’t mention Semedo either but that doesn’t seem to bother you. Maybe you have a different opinion

The defence was outstanding as a unit, and Ait Nouri will have impressed many watching. Also amazing to think Kilman was plucked from non-league obscurity. Can't be many non-league players who have made such an impressive step-up.

Home to Sheffield Utd in the cup. MGW won’t play for blades in that one, but will he play for Wolves

It would be a little harsh to recall him and then put him on against his mates at United don't you think?

I do, but I think the player would be peed off if we recalled him and didn’t play him in that game. Important thing is do we want him back, or do we want to leave him there until the summer

I would probably leave him there thinking about it. Podence can play a similar role for now.
