It was a decent run but the defensive side of our team (11 players in that) is not as good. We have lost something where the better sides are able to score against us. That's the reason we are 3rd.

Brighton 2-2, west ham 2-3. City 2-2. 2 points from 9. If we were crucial we would say the op points to a run of form where to results simply didnt happen

I'm bot even counting brentford 3-3 as they are not that good and that result is they only lower half points drop we have had all season

We're unlikely to match that ever again....maybe no team will so better than a decent run I'd say.

We are much more potential in an attacking sense and seem to have worked out defensive issues.

We concede an average of less than a goal every 3 games lately. Its never going to be 4 goals a game and I chances or goals conceded for a prolonged period.

we have play 8 lower half teams. won 7, drew 1. have conceded 0.5 goals per game. scored more than 3 per game.

thats frightneing!

but against top half teams we have played less but let in 1.33 goals per game. that says to me that theres a little vunerability that a better team can unlock. thankfully klopp commented on this against Southampton that we are conceding too many situations.

Actually the everton goal was amost a carbon copy of what happened v west ham. We are been drawn out wide as CBS and we are leaving massive gaps in the middle to run through. How we resolve this as a side I don't know but the vulnerability is there for all to see.

there comes a point where perhaps the cbs need to concede the space wide and let sides have that run and only engage within the width of the pen area?

Yes you're right, wouldn't you say that we were a little complacent in the earlier games when going ahead?

Thisgo now offers us a level of control that we lacked, if we can solve the issue you mentioned....Then there is no weakness. ( scoring at record rates, conceding nothing and wonderful football).

There will always be a few cha es here and there. When have you know us to be just steam rolling teams home and away? It's a rarefied position

What has being 3rd part way through this season got to do with the OP?
