Extremely surprised a United fan would think this way. You literally got a side by side comparison between 2012-14 of the difference a quality & cr@p manager can make on a team.

One wins the title, the other finishes 7th with virtually the same squad (just a year older).

Way too early to write us off. The squads too deep & too many players haven't hit their stride yet.

I will say if we go into February (post-ACON where we'll lose Mendy) not top I won't be confident. As good as we are at front running to the finish line, historically, we aren't good chasers at all, always wind up slipping up somewhere when 2nd or 3rd.

I’m more annoyed by the Utd and Burnley games devil. Created more than enough. Chillwell is now injured so can see us dropping points. And West Ham are a tough nut to crack. But we get an extra 4 points from urd and Burnley and we’re still comfortable at the top. Oh well plenty more twists and turns yet

I didn't see the Burnley game but I feel you on the United one. I burst out laughing when Sancho/Rashford ran through clean on goal, but back in the day (when I was younger & more invested) I'd have been so p!ssed

I'm not as fearful of Chilwell's injury cos I don't think Tuchel's ever completely taken to him tbh, if he doesn't see him as a crucial loss that's good for us. The potentially vital conundrum he has is figuring out how to utilize Lukaku while not disturbing the balance - if he gets that right soon we'll be fine

You’re saying you’d be comfortably top if you hadn’t dropped those points, I’m saying it’s exactly the same for us in those games. I never understand why people use the whataboutery when it comes to dropped points.

These 3 teams at the top are miles ahead of the rest of the league. Just look at the goal difference to tell you that.

The so called 'Big 4, or 6' are no longer. Its 3 top teams followed by some good teams
