Fred

Buzzing for Fred.

Always gives his all and has been hung out to dry by a few managers, and written off by lots of fans, but he is finally showing everyone what a player he can be.

Keep it up Fred.

Busby

Strange because he doesn't seem like a Pep play at all.

Who was that lad in midfield that looks like Fred?

I always wonder whether City ever genuinely wanted him or it was just some ploy to get us to get him.

Can't doubt his effort and he does seem to becoming more useful, definitely more so than McTomminay.

I believe the Shakhtar DOF recently said he was joining City then we offered a ludicrous amount of money in comparison.

So maybe he was going there as a squad player.

The city deal would have gone ahead if Shakhtar weren't still in the CL at the time apparently

No doubt Pep would have turned Fred into a world class midfielder by now.

as Freds biggest critic, after just a few games I can see what a pllayer he is. I always thought the reported link to city was pep throwing utd a dummy.

Fred might become a great case study of what playing a player in the right way can acheive

And yet, in the first 20 minutes of the game 72 hours ago, the whole board was united in wanting him lynched/deported.

I’ll reserve judgement until he’s had more of these types of games and less of the first 20 minutes against Arsenal.

This is the thing, people forget about that first 20 minutes where he nearly cost us the game.
