There was no coaching with Ole. Complete amateur and I said this multiple times. He had no idea

It was pretty obvious. I've been saying for ages that Ole just threw a team out on the pitch with no real game plan. He was like someone on football manager who would just set up a formation, stick players in it and hope they were good enough to win.

I don't actually understand people saying that Ole didn't have a method, he quite obviously did otherwise he wouldn't have got the job. I don't think people realise just quite how tough it is.

Of course, when your results and performances are poor, you do lose your playing style, identity or whatever you want to call it. That eventually leads to the manager getting sacked because it becomes too disjointed and too slack, which it did for Ole. But to say he didn't have a plan just isn't correct. Every coach or manager has a philosophy, but obviously getting players to buy into that and perform within that framework is different entirely.

Yeah, but that £149m was well spent. Ramsdale looks cheap at twice the price, White fee is a bit over-inflated, but done well, Tomiyasu is a steal, Nuno is a no-risk buy, same with Sambi, Odegaard is the only one really that has yet to look like justifying his fee.
