Probably already been said but apparently Donny and Henderson are confirmed starters by Ralf.

Cavani and Varane are also back in training but won’t feature tomorrow.

How well do wingers work in a 4222 system? Maybe Amad and Pellistri are less likely to get minutes when our offensive players are positioned more centrally.

People shouldn't think of Amad as a typical winger because like Sancho he has a good understanding of the game, no matter the situation be it out wide or more central. For me there's an intelligence about him that is equalled only by Sancho out of him, Greenwood and Rashford.

When he was playing for the U23s you could see that he processes things quicker than any of the other players. His reading of the game and awareness of what's around him I think is very good and he knows exactly what he's going to do with the ball before he receives it. You can see in how and where he positions himself and how he creates space for himself with his body movement how clever he is.

Given all his other qualities, if managed and developed right, I think we could have a brilliant player for the future.

TRS, I don't see more than short clips of youth games but on the basis of a much smaller amount of evidence, I'm really impressed by Amad too. I endorse what you said, and would only add that when he stepped up into playing senior football at Manchester United, he looked supremely comfortable, sure of himself. Not everything was coming off, obviously there's a lack of experience, but he played with a kind of certainty, which I think comes from the intelligence you picked out, combined with having a lot of confidence in his technique, which always buys that extra bit of time to think.

They are deployed mostly as strikers in it.

I guess it would depend on the player really, how comfortable they are in tighter spaces and what's asked of them by the manager but you tend not to see many traditional wingers playing in that set up unless maybe they're playing on their weaker side and coming inside onto their stronger foot but there aren't too many old fashioned wingers around full stop anyway these days. Most managers prefer to use some type of playmaker in the wider roles.

I keep seeing that we're already through as group winners. But surely if we lose and Villareal win they'll be top?
Or is it head to head rather than goal difference?
