How is Conte negative? I would expect him to be at the highest risk

Spurs have 13 positive tests.

I would agree that a few here and there like most clubs and you can more easily keep it under control, but now maybe a third of the players and coaching staff have it, its more difficult to contain.

Arent the rules that if yoive been in contact with anyone with the Omicrom variant you have to self isolate for 10 days.

Personally given the number involved here i think it is in everyones best interest that the game is postponed, tomorrows & Sundays and may be even next weeks until we get to a position where there are none.

In regards Thursday's game, I think current Uefa rules state matches have to be played if at least 13 of the 25 players registered for the competition are available to play.
That said, firstly we don't ( and won't ) find out who the players are that tested positive. As someone has already said, half of them could be youth players. And second, irrespective of that rule, surely in light of the new variant, common sense dictates that, to avoid a complete disaster, the next 2/3 games should be called off.
10 days of proper isolation would kill this off, and whilst rescheduling will cause issues in itself, surely that is the intelligent thing to do, not to mention the obvious disadvantage a weaken Spurs team would clearly have going into these games.

was making my first ever trip to brighton away so shame for me if its cancelled, but sounds like it needs to be. thursday night looks like it needs to be binned off. latest report is that we only have 10 senior outfield players available.

It’s very unlikely that we will be playing Brighton & Leicester... So stick 2 fingers up at Eufa & play the youth players..

If we are going to be involved in a fixture backlog... then we DONT want to still be involved in this meaningless tournament, do we?!!

It’s very unlikely that we will be playing Brighton & Leicester... So stick 2 fingers up at Eufa & play the youth players..

If we are going to be involved in a fixture backlog... then we DONT want to still be involved in this meaningless tournament, do we?!!
