Spend all you want!

Incredible.

Cfc sign lukaku after spending half a billion in a couple of yrs....city sign £100M grealish to go with £1.5B spent on their team over the last say 7 odd yrs (im guessing)

Meanwhile liverpool are accused of having a weak squad and hardly mentioned in terms of the title...instead liverpool let wijnaldum leave the club and promote a teenager called H Elliott into the 1st team along with C Jones.

So whats happened? Well...liverpool become the only English team to win all 6 group CL games...have lost only once in the league....scored more goals in the league than any other team in Europes top 5 leagues...and have coped without the likes of:

Firmino
Henderson
Fabinho
Gomez
Milner
Keita
Elliott
Curtis
AOC

Liverpool sit one point behind the league leaders and are on a six game winning run which has helped liverpool stay in every competition they have entered so far.

Incredible!

(Just wait until we get our injured players back!!)

City and Chelsea fans thinking of you don’t have a bunch of £50m players on the bench the squad must be weaker.
============

This.

Also, it's not an accident we have a slightly, and it is slightly, smaller squad. Klopp has continually talked about preferring a smaller one and let's face it, it works.

1 league title in 6 years under Klopp. yeah it works

Yes, well fine margins, but plenty of matches won, finals entered and trophies gained.

This guy. You really shouldn't talk about football you know. Wasn't it you that said Foden was the best player in the league too?

LOL.

The Dutch mickey mouse league Ajax managed to finish their group with 6 wins as well. Shows you how difficult it is.

So why has no other English team done it up until last night then?

As someone has alluded to above though, you don't have to spend £50m on a player to prove that they are good. What you purchase players for does not always determine the strength of your squad. If we went by that logic, Everton would be a strong side in the league.

At the end of the day, Klopp has assembled an elite, competitive squad that compliments everyone in the squad. Something that is very difficult to do given you're managing players of International calibre as well. That's a credit to Tuchel and Pep as well. But Klopp goes to show you don't have to throw money at it to make it work.

Yes fine margins. For example a Mane offside vs Arsenal which which as narrow as they came stopped us winning the league. Things like that.

Look, it's pretty clear you like to write silly things on the internet to get attention so I will leave you to it.

£90m for Bellingham

That’s more money Klopp definitely isn’t spending

he kinda did when he broke transfer records for Allison and van dijk.

Maybe Ranieri may have proved you don't have to have money but that occurrence in itself was an outlier.

Everywhere else the better squads win the most trophies.

Also in the real world where it's not football manager 2022 teams that get to finals and such are actually lauded.

Klopp reached league cup final, europa final, cl final, 2nd in league AND won a cl and a league.

Over 6 years that's a great run for anyone but a plastic spoiled by oil money etc.

I can tell you the win over dortmund in the europa was every bit as crazy and fun as the cl semi final win over barca. Great times.

And no the world club or super cup are not big deals, they are just cash cows.

The alisson late goal was every bit as dramatic against a bunch of no hopes as the origi goal in the cl final.

The scenes in june on the cl homecoming was amazing and will not be seen again with covid. Great times.

Plenty have spent more than us under Klopp and not won trophies. You’re talking out of your hoop here.
