Thiago has been different gravy all season and that midfield now is a match for anyones.

In a season where there is so little to choose between the top 3, getting them 3 on the pitch together as often as possible might juat make the difference come may.

Crabnaldum the king of the sideways pass is not as good as Thiago. 4 months at PSG and they're already fed up of his pointless passing and are trying to ship him off. Living off 1 good night against Barca where for one night only he found an end product.

On that note Klopp valued Moreno above Robertson.

Look windy was a nice lad and a good player but theres mile of difference between thiago in vision and touch and most players.

Wijnaldum could play any position but you got the feeling looking at him that if he just believed in his ability a bit more he would be a far better player. Windy gave us a locked down base to play off but he didnt exactly set the place alight regularly with forward play when the opportunity presented itself.

Like Danny Murphy, before big games you could see that lad sweating bullets. Thiago is outrageously talented and knows it.

Oh and he was in no way living of one night. He only came.on at half time v barca and was angry and proved a point that night.

Windy gave us 5 good years of consistent level.

These idiots have no idea, wijnaldum would boss all of their teams in midfield in front of their eyes. Tbh they still question Salah and VVD so what hope is there. They've finally had to accept Salahs greatness however

But look at how he has been used for the Dutch and its obvious he can bring a threat further forward. He played in a way that Klopp wanted him to play which allowed others to prosper in the final third whilst giving us a solid platform.

Exactly. In fact look at how he played for every team before signing for us. He was always an attacking player who scored goals and took risks. However that is not what Klopp wanted from him, considering we have three very attacking forwards and two attacking full backs.

It always amazes me that people expect players to play a certain way, despite them playing the way the manager wants them to. We had this with Firmino and TAA and nearly every midfielder we've had under Klopp. They're playing in a way Klopp wants them to play otherwise they wouldn't be playing. Winjnaldum was excellent at covering the full backs and moving into to areas to create space for them. Thiago is a completely different player who also has to hold back on some of his attacking instincts, which he already learned to do at Bayern.
