Celtic shown some fight against the SFA after a refereeing dispute saw Crawford Allan make public declarations about the Bhoys’ game against Hearts, according to a report.
According to a newspaper report, Celtic have made a complaint to the SFA after the public intervention from Allan.

The idea of clear daylight between players will never be provable, in actual play you'd need the linesman to be in perfect position at all times and for VAR it will ultimately come down to replays and the smallest margins again and change nothing at all.

You can say though that VAR can only rule a player offside if there is clear daylight between them, and can't overrule an offside decision that the referee makes if there's any part of the attacker's body in an offside position. That way decisions can be made on fine margins but not overruled by fine margins, and goes back to the original spirit of VAR of only changing clear and obvious errors.

In my opinion the head of referees shouldn't have bothered with anything public like going on radio. He also did this with neilson unable to get in touch with him to discuss it.
All it did was get him a bit of exposure.
The article itself is a disaster but a fan blog will likely be that.
