If we were assured we would all be back in for the restart 21st Jan I think.
then it might just be possible to find the 3 dates required.

But the 21st Jan really isnt happening, so how long do you wait?

We have a unique opportunity this year to extend the season because the WC is not until the winter. Just saying.

I don't think it matters how many clubs get behind it

It won't happen

We will play the game behind closed doors

Hopefully we have a new signing to come into the team for the rangers game to help us along

i think weve been working on new additions coming in straight away so its a mibbies aye

‘ Scottish Premiership clubs have been asked to vote on when the winter break should be introduced.

The three options are to pause as planned after 3 January, start the break after the Boxing Day fixtures or begin the hiatus before Sunday's games.

The SPFL board are encouraging clubs not to vote for the third option due to the few dates available to play games.

Should option two be chosen, a return to play would take place in the week beginning Monday 17 January.

There would be midweek fixtures that week to make up for the postponed rounds of matches.

Clubs have been asked to inform the SPFL of their preference by 17:00 GMT on Wednesday and Dundee United have already expressed support for bringing the winter break forward.’

tbf she never ever said 500 fans she said a capacity of 500 which would effectively make it spectator free .

so thats probably the majority being staff to make the players safe ,.


Good thats its going to a vote , that means they have the scope to change it up .

cant see why any club would be against fans attending given whats been said in the past

Agreed although with the options being given and the propensity for her and her advisors to err on the side of caution; it doesn’t matter how much they bring it forward by as there will still be no fans able to attend.

Despite the fact this is all a conspiracy designed to give Celtic a break to get their injured players back, I can totally understand the desire to push back these games to a date when fans can be allowed in again. Nonsense that we cram in so many games in December anyway. That said, I think it's pretty naive to think we'll be back to full capacity in three weeks. That's not how any of the restrictions have gone so far. Part of me thinks we'd be as well ploughing on with the fixtures but allowing clubs who have a big covid outbreak to postpone games and reschedule them into what would have been the winter break next month. I doubt anyone's going to Dubai this winter anyway.

I'd say end the season declare who ever is on atm top champions and then start the league afresh at the end of march and usher in summer football.
